Get Drawn In To The Story With Alchemy of Trauma

The first chapter of The Alchemy of Trauma will document a year-long journey of connection, healing and empowerment through embodied practices of yoga and self-inquiry with women survivors of trauma and humanitarian aid workers in communities across the globe.


A significant aspect of this project was the heavy editing and framing of a substantial amount of text used to tell the client’s story and establish her mission. Clever use of paragraph sizing and page breaks were used to split the content into manageable portions — four chapters were created: an orientation and three “elements,” calling back to the brands geometric logo. The reader is encouraged to navigate through each page and to read every last word, skipping nothing.


Deeply personal imagery was carefully selected to provide visual interest amidst heavy copy and illustrate the given mood of the page.
