Q Design Studio brings timeless design down to a human scale. Based on Mercer Island, Washington, Jacqueline Quasney specializes in residential interiors shaped by classic principles refined for modern living.
The website translates that philosophy into a quiet, modern framework that lets her work and her process speak for themselves. Designing for designers demands respect for their eye, their vocabulary, and their relationship to space. Here, images, white space, fonts, movement, and exposition were chosen to echo the language of Jacqueline’s interiors: measured, intentional, and timeless.
The home page opens with a slideshow that fades slowly between a curated selection of her interiors. The transition is unhurried, giving each image time to settle before the next appears.
For a portfolio teaser, a “Bento box” grid showcases the four most recent projects. Each tile varies slightly in size, giving a natural rhythm to the layout, staggered but balanced, like a gallery wall arranged by a designer’s eye. Rounded corners soften the geometry, while subtle hover effects add a sense of tactile engagement.
Each full project page continues this balance of clarity and warmth. Large, evenly spaced images tell the story of a room through light, materials, and form. Brief text frames each project’s goals and challenges in her own approachable voice.
