A FEAST FOR THE EYES
Food & Beverage
Food and beverage businesses live or die by atmosphere, story, and the feeling they create before a guest ever walks through the door. Your website is where that feeling begins.
Before founding EngageTaste, I spent years writing about food and drink for Zagat, Sauce Magazine, and St. Louis Magazine. I know how to talk about this industry because I lived inside it — and I bring that sensibility to every website I build for it.

Savor Every Detail
✔ Crave-Worthy Photography
In the food and beverage industry, imagery is the primary sales tool. I design around your best visual assets, giving photography the scale and presentation it needs to stop a visitor mid-scroll.
✔ A brand Story Worth Telling
The best food and beverage brands have a point of view — about ingredients, about hospitality, about why they exist. Your website should communicate that story with the same care you put into the experience itself, not just list your hours and menu.
✔ Maxed Out Functionality
Online ordering, reservations, event booking, e-commerce, and menus that are easy to update — a food and beverage site has real operational needs. I build for all of it, so the experience is as seamless for your staff to manage as it is for your guests to navigate.
✔ SEO Optimized
Most food and beverage clients find you through search before they find you through word of mouth. SEO-optimized structure, local search readiness, and social integration make sure your site is working to bring new guests in, not just confirming you exist for people who already know you.
FEATURED WORK
Fosforo Spirits
Fosforo is a dual-expression spirits brand — mezcal and tequila — known for bold branding and cinematic visual storytelling. When the founders expanded from a single spirit to a two-product line, the site needed a refresh that preserved the brand's distinct identity while making room for a new chapter.
Organic curving section breaks suggest hillside and horizon. New photography with a faded, immersive treatment deepens the visual atmosphere. A dusky blue, applied only in reference to the tequila, introduces the new product without disrupting the overall palette.
“Sara, it was such an honor to work with you! You worked so hard to make our dreams come alive and we cannot thank you enough for our beautiful new website.”
— Ashley Scherrer, Bittersweet Kitchen
“Sara was such a pleasure to work with. She took my brief and ran with it and designed something better than I ever could’ve imagined. Highly recommend!"
— Adrienne Giroux, Chef in the House
“We recently hired a candidate that, in researching caterers throughout the Bay Area, applied based on our prime location and impressive clientele. After being scheduled for an interview, she discovered our newly redesigned site and found it fresh and innovative — that is why she ultimately decided to take the position.”
— Sam Collier, Taste Catering
