k.esmé is an activewear manufacturer geared towards women who prefer to shop sustainably while also receiving a superior product. The founder, Kayla, has sourced all of her materials from abandoned fishing nets, and pre and post-consumer waste like recycled plastic bottles, old carpets and fabric scraps, helping to keep our oceans clean and reduce landfill waste. All of her fabrics are certified to be free of harmful chemicals and manufactured under sustainable and ethical conditions.

The commerce site’s aesthetic took its cue from the branding — feminine, light and organic — keeping both the products and the mission of sustainability front and center for customers and the navigation and layout open and airy for a clean, easy-to-navigate experience.
