The Squarespace platform offers an elegant website presentation that is easy to manage right out of the gate. But, after you’ve been an official website owner for a while, you might get that itch to customize it to personalize it and offer functionality that better fits your offering. You can do that with custom code, which I utilize in some fashion for most of my builds, but plugins are a great option for the beginner as knowledge of coding isn’t required and, sometimes, it’s just better to not reinvent the wheel and utilize solutions someone else has already perfected.
